Guestbook

  • We booked Tregarreck Point for a weeklong family get together for a ‘significant’ birthday and it was fabulous! The house is spotless, spacious, well equipped and in an excellent location. Communications were faultless. There was a very generous welcome pack which kept us supplied with cream teas for the week. We were spoilt for choice as to where to gather in the house, between the marvellous dining area, fantastic upstairs lounge with great sea views and the outside areas offering copious seating and a generous outside dining table. We also toasted the (supplied!) marshmallows in the fire pit overlooking the sea under the stars (a bit breezy in April but still fun!). Coverack is a short easy walk away and offers a couple of lovely cafes, a surprisingly decent community shop and with the Lifeboat offering good food and drinks. Also recommended is the nearby The Greenhouse in St Keverne where we had a fabulous family meal. The little beach below the house is lovely and the headland walk from the house to the little NT sardine spotters lookout was simply stunning. Further afield but still within a 20 minute drive Lizard Point and Kynance Cove are possibly the most beautiful parts of Britain with stunning walks and beaches.
We loved our week here and highly recommend it!!
